It seems Take Two productions may have had a reason for asking their shareholders to deny EA's offering bids of consolidation. The company told shareholders that they have possible plans with some of their best-selling products, one of which centers around last year's Bioshock videogame.
In a report to their shareholders, the company gave a business % plan that included a possible Bioshock MMO, mobile games and a theatrical movie treatment.
Wow, nobody cares about Bioshock eh? How can you not love this game or this news? Bioshock was like if Jules Verne and Ayn Rand got it on in an art deco museum. One of the best games of the year.
I hope they do good. I just bought three hundred dollars worth of stock from these guys. I might buy more...I have like three forty seven left to play with from the 401k I have from the job I quit. Maybe with this new I'll buy more...Why not...I already lost two thou messing around once...that use to be only 1 thou...no it's twenty two dollars...whee. Economics rock. Pffft!
Hah good luck with that seesaw MrJaw, though if this news is in fact true, and not some short-sighted steam to keep shareholders content, it would be fantastic.
BIOSHOCK really was one of the best games of the year (Merin you had mentioned in the Assassin's Creed review you're looking for a new game; if you haven't played yet this is it).
"With the sweat from your brow, this could be your city too!"
NO GODS OR KINGS, ONLY MEN
Bioshock is without a doubt one of the best games of all time. It deserves to be up there with Half-Life, Half-Life2, & GTA series as revolutionary gaming with a heart. I just finsihed playing it on my laptop this weekend and have to say it was well worth the good ending. Movie-wise, I can see James Cameron, Peter Jackson, or even Guillermo Del Toro pulling this off with David Fincher producing. I have been a PJ fan since Bad Taste and feel he has the range and WETA to back him up.
