The feature filmversion of CrossGen's Way of the Rat has found a home atDreamWorks according to today's Variety.The movie will be produced by Frank Darabont's Darkwoods Productions and CastleRock Productions. As previously reported, frequent Darabont collaborator ChuckRussell (The Scorpion King) is on board to direct.
The article alsomentions that Darkwoods is committed to a big-screen version of Doc Savage.Darabont told Variety that it now appears unlikely that Russell woulddirect this one. A "devoted action helmer" is being sought for thepulp piece.
