I am not scared at that idea xpaladinx45. Lucas hired Irvin Kershner to direct Empire Strikes Back. Which was the best Star Wars ever made ironically. I think Lucas can pick a diretor, he himself just not a particularly great one. I think between Lucas and Disney all will be well in the end. No one is going to let this suck.

axia - I hope so, I really really do.  I would have never thought that Lucas would bumble special effects so poorly either though.  Admittedly though, I think I am just being cautious so I won't be let down if things go badly.  I am pretty excited by the writer choice though, and improved dialogue ALONE would a loooooong way

Is Uwe Boll available?

@laz - LMAO - Uwe Boll.  Boll of shit more like it.  LOL

@xpaladinx45 - No joke. Better dialog would have made the Prequels so much better. That is what I am hoping as well. You know that Lucas did not write Empire Strikes Back alone either. Leigh Brackett (screenplay) and Lawrence Kasdan (screenplay) were actually the principle writers. Again, thus the reason that Empire was the best Star Wars ever made.

So as we can all see when Lucas is not in charge or writing it is all good. Which is why I think this will be the best Star Wars made since Empire Strikes Back.

Any mofo they pick will do cause they will have the Disney machine behind them.

I got it! It all makes sense now: Say hello to my little friend- Brian DePalma.

Now, he'll give ya' a Star Wars movie you'll never forget!

We could get really weird and have Cronenberg do it.

Or better yet, let John Carpenter have a go at it. Snake Pliskin would be right at home as a bounty hunter type.
