2 More Characters

By Robert T. Trate     April 24, 2013

Director Bryan Singer is at his tweets again. This time he has dropped that both Bishop and Warpath will be in his X-Men Days of Future Past. Check out the video Tweet here is reporting that Omar Sy will be playing Bishop. Native American actor, Booboo Stewart will be playing Warpath.

Who is Bishop?’s official Biography:

Lucas Bishop was born in the 21st Century A.D. of an alternate future timeline in which the mutant-hunting robot Sentinels had taken control of North America. In this timeline, Professor Charles Xavier and most of the members of the mutant team he founded, the X-Men, had been killed. Surviving mutants were hunted down and either killed or imprisoned within relocation camps.

Bishop's parents escaped to America shortly before the island nation of Australia was destroyed in a tactical nuclear strike. They were soon captured and interred in a mutant relocation camp in Sheep's Head Bay, Brooklyn, New York. There, Bishop and his sister Shard were both born and, like other mutants, they were branded with "M" tattoos over their right eyes for identification (read his full story here).

Who is Warpath?’s official Biography:

The life of James Proudstar seems to be partially defined by tragedy. He grew up hardly knowing his older brother, John, but nevertheless held him in high regard, watching him become a local hero. Later, his brother would be recruited into Charles Xavier'sX-Men, taking the code-name Thunderbird, but he died on one of his earliest missions. Just before Thunderbird's funeral in the Western Desert, Proudstar stole his brother's body and gave him a traditional Apache warrior's funeral rite. Blaming Xavier for his brother's death, Proudstar accepted an offer from Emma Frost, then the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, to join her team, the Hellions. He took the costume and code-name of Thunderbird in his brother's memory (read his full story here).

Stewart better have started at the gym a while ago for Warpath!

Holy crap! Im actually excited about this. I just hope they do them justice. However, the FEEL of each individual character in the Xmen movies are WAYYYYY more different than the feel of each individual character in the Avengers movie.

The xmen movies make each character feel so cheesy and like... they're just another dude with this power. Somehow Joss Whedon makes each Avenger character feel so epic in their own way!! That's what is missing from these Xmen movies i think. The "epicness" of each character! I hope I just made sense.

Still keeping fingers crossed.

Can we say over kill?  There are going to be so many characters in this movie it is going to overwhelmed.

Oh and who ever that kid is for Warpath is a total joke.  Look at him then look a the pic of Warpath.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Not even close kid, not even close.

SarcasticCaveman 4/24/2013 10:55:11 AM

Too bad they didn't have an X-Men movie featuring Warpath prior to up to 1987 when Sonny Landham looked JUST like him.

violator14 4/24/2013 10:56:25 AM

Ya that kid is like the size of one of Warpath's arms. But hey, it could have been worse. They could have casted Taylor Lautner.

Wiseguy 4/24/2013 11:12:22 AM

Yeah keeping my fingers crossed too like violator, I'm trying to look at these X film differently so I can enjoy them.

As far as size, man that's the case with almost all superheroes. None are size appropriate except for cgi Hulk and Thor is pretty close. But most are not muscular enough

momitchell7 4/24/2013 11:19:13 AM

Why not Jason Mamoa for Warpath / Thunderturd, or even for Bishop?

SarcasticCaveman 4/24/2013 11:43:16 AM

I would assume they may not care what Warpath looks like because he may not be featured prominently in the movie.  Anymore it seems like they are just trying to see how many mutants they can stuff into their movies.
