MTV announced that music videos from Spider-Man and Men In Black II were among the nominees for their upcoming MTV Music Video Awards.
In the catagory "Best Video From A Film", "Hero" by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott from the Spider-Man soundtrack will contend with "Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head)" by Will Smith off of the Men In Black II soundtrack. Spider-Man and Agent J will have competition in the form of "#1" by Nelly from Training Day and "Area Codes" by Ludacris and Nate Dogg from Rush Hour 2.
The nineteenth annual video awards will broadcast live from New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, August 29, 2002 at 8:00PM (LIVE ET/Taped PT).
