In his"Permanent Damage" column on ComicBook Resources Steven Grant revealed that there's a new Swamp Thingmovie in the works with Joel Silver's Silver Pictures. Grant also reports that SwampThing co-creator Len Wein has signed on to write the script.
CoronaComing Attractions did some quick follow up on the report and learned thatWein's take on the material will be faithful to the character's dark horrorroots (no pun intended), unlike the previous Swamp Thing moviesthat played for camp.
