
The WitchbladeTV show is on the ropes, but it's fans are still a formidable force. This weekit was announced that a Witchblade themed auction raised over$10,000 in proceeds for various charitable causes.
Actors AnthonyCistaro (Kenneth Irons on the show), Eric Etebari (Ian Nottingham) and JohnHensley (Gabriel Bowman) - stars of TNT's original drama Witchblade- raised $10,113 from 124 autographed items in the Champions of CharityAuction.
Auctionorganizers Jessie Smith of the EtebarIANFan Club, Tamara and Heather Tsang of TheAnthony Cistaro Page and Tricia Harris of JohnHensley.net announced the results after the four-week auction ended.
"This was atremendous show of support from fans of Witchblade and theindividual actors," Smith said. "We are extremely thankful to everyonewho participated in the online auction."
Cistaro'scharity was Habitat for Humanity - Los Angeles, CA. Etebari selectedHollygrove in Los Angeles, CA. Hensley chose Beacon House in Louisville, KY.When a bidder won an item with an actor's signature on it, the donation wasmade to that actor's charity. In cases where more than one signature appeared,the donation was split evenly.
The auction drew108 registered bidders, with 48 unduplicated winners overall.
