TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES: Allison from Palmdale - Oct 01, 2008 - 08:32am
C- is a little harsh, imo.
This wasn;t action packed, but it was a necessary transition episode to explaina couple of things. I think we all suspected something along these lines for Cameron, and the story lines were getting a little loose, so they needed direction.
TV Wasteland: More Shows Coming Back This Week - Sep 29, 2008 - 11:51am
Damn! I need two dvr's to keep up, lol.
Here is what I have so far:
ONE AND DONE:
Do Not Disturb--How does crap like this make it on tv? Even on Fox?
Prison Break--Actually 3 and done. Heroes is a must and Worst Week is a freakin' riot, so PB loses out by default, though if it was on at a different time, I probably would watch it still.
Chuck--DAMNIT!! I really like Chuck, and I'm working on a way to keep it in there, but Terminator is my choice for now. I need a little comedy, so BBT and How I met your Mother are necessary. C'mon Saturday night replays!
UP IN THE AIR:
True Blood--It is doing just enough to keep me interested, but not enough to make me love it.
Sons of Anarchy--So far, so OK. see True Blood.
CATCHING A SECOND WIND (or shows I came back to during the summer):
Dexter--I am re-committed, lol.
Breaking Bad--Can't not watch it for some reason.
CSI:NY--A good show, but nothing out of the ordinary. Good time slot for me.
YOUR DEAD TO ME (or shows I'm not coming back to):
CSI:Miami--Not a bad show, I just watch to much tv and this is a casualty.
Cold Case--see above
Bones--See above
RELATIONSHIPS ARE ALWAYS GOOD IN THE BEGINNING:
Fringe--Loving it!! Seriously, this show fills a void for me and I really like the characters. We will see where it goes.
Worst Week--Great start, let's see how long they can sustain it.
INFATUATION (Shows I want to see, but have yet to make the move, lol):
Life On Mars--loved the UK version.
The Mentalist--Not as much, but I want to take it for a spin.
Eleventh Hour--Looks very interesting.
Sanctuary--see above.
OLD RELIABLES:
Always Sunny in Philadelphia--best show on TV??
The Office--That's what she said!
Entourage--Ari just kills me.
Heroes--hope they can keep it going.
CSI-should be interesting season
I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND, BUT SHE LIVES IN ANOTHER STATE (Where are these shows, lol??):
24--"it's been such a long time"
TV Wasteland: Everybody's on the FRINGE - Sep 15, 2008 - 12:06pm
Fringe-Very good and entertaining. Of course it has holes, but I can accept that in the genre. jackson is very good and has sort of young george Clooney thing about him.
SCC-really looking forward to season 2.
Prison Break-Same old same old and Micheal Rappaport is very miscast as an FBI agent. I like it, but i just don;t love it.
Eureka--Can't believe the season finale is next week. Really fun show.
True Blood-Good, but unsure about it. If the pace doesnt pick up, i will probably lose it as more new shows come out.
How's it going bj? I saw on the Mandy thread you'd seen the Day of the Dead "remake". Did it have anything to do with the original other than the zombie angle or was it essentially just a rip off of the title?
