The voting has finished and Geneon Entertainment managed to nab it by one vote with their release of Black Lagoon: Second Barrage Vol. #1 taking the win. The win is quite close but it looks like the Bandai Entertainment release of Code Geass suffered from its numerous playback issues with a lot of people and that kept it from securing the nod.
Black Lagoon: Second Barrage Vol. #1 is now joining the growing list of titles that will compete for the Best of the Year in our awards section.
