Universal Pictures has bought the pitch THE LOST ADVENTURES OF STONE PERLMUTTER JR. for Jack Black to star in.

Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory will write the script which will be a faux documentary made from recently "discovered" footage from 1979, chronicling the disastrous journey of a self-styled Indiana Jones-like adventurer who traveled the globe in search of such elusive targets as Yeti, El Dorado, the lost tomb of Jesus.

Jack Black and Ben Cooley will produce.

Should be a real documentary on how this talentless fat bastard is thought to be funny and has a career.

BRING IT ON!
I LOVE JACK BLACK. Everything he touches turns gold!
(except shallow hal, and envy)
I love how these succesful comics are always labled as talented nothings (Steve Carrell, Jack Black, Jim Carrey) by profesional videogame players.
I love them and they make me laugh hard!

Pick of Destiny is one of the funniest movies ever.....I loved the scene where he ate shrooms, had to be one of the best trip sequences ever. I think Jack Black is very talented, plus he is one of the few actors that can actually rock (barring Jared Leto). I first remember seeing him in a mid-90's roller blade movie called "Airborne" and thought he was funny. He has been around awhile, its good to see him getting work.

Jack Black is one of the funniest comedians alive, I can't even look at a picture of him without laughing. He's always good no matter the quality of the film he's in. How anyone can call him talent-less would certainly require a very detailed explanation for me to even begin to ponder thinking about possibly trying to perhaps consider understanding.........maybe he hooked up with myklspader before he got famous and now he denies it or something.........

I have to agree and vote: JB=talented.
I love this guy. And "Pick of Destiny" was waaay underrated. I laughed all the way through.
I watched it the same night I watched "Borat" which I thought was pretty awful.

I liked Black in Kong and I loved him in school of rock. Haven't seen much else. Except saving silverman and that was just ok.
