BLADE's Goyer pacts with Warner Bros.

After raising his stock considerably by penning all three BLADE films for New Line Cinema (and let's not forget he's directing BLADE: TRINITY either), screenwriter David Goyer has inked a one-year deal with Warner Bros., the movie studio where his BATMAN BEGINS screenplay is in the process of being turned into a movie. The first-look deal with WB calls for Goyer to write, produce and direct films, and it's rumored that he'll develop two new comic book-related properties for the company during his tenure. Warners has the option to renew the agreement with Goyer for an additional two years.

According to Variety's story, another film which may whet the interest of Goyer is a remake of SOYLENT GREEN.
