Death Note was a series that started off well but seemed to continue to go down hill. Especially in the second half of the series which built up to a disappointing and anticlimactic conclusion. For a series that had started with such controversy asking if/when it is ok to kill, end justifying the means. I had hoped that as a reader I would be left with deeper lingering questions instead of anger at wasting so much time reading a series that did not live up to the potential I thought it had. I keep wishing to find out that the author was forced to change the direction of the series so that I feel less cheated.
