Warner Brothers Online has released an incredible 2 minute short celebrating the Man of Steel. Check out this tribute to Superman. It’s only 2 minutes long, but you will watch it more than once.

Synopsis: From the creative minds of Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) and Bruce Timm (Superman: The Animated Series) and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this short follows Superman through the years, from his first appearance on the cover of Action Comics #1 to Henry Cavill in this year's Man of Steel...all in two minutes!

A high resolution version of this animated short will be available on the "Man of Steel" Blu-ray Combo Pack, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on November 12, 2013.

I love this! It mustve been so hard to narrow down the points in Superman history to only 2 minutes. But they did an exceptional job with what they chose

I think this is great, too. I saw on another site people getting upset that this or that part of the mythos didn't get included but they only have 2 minutes. It's still a fun short that brings a smile to my face.

Wow. That was just, wow.

Kind of a let down at then end though. It reminded me of just how poorly Superman is being handled now. The comics are beyond boring & uninteresting & MoS was all flash & no substance.

But I'm sure Supes will pull himself out of this slump & fly high again.

who ever did this great job.

Loved, loved, loved the inclusion of the video game.

Nice! Was Superman Returns in the mix there somewhere, or did I blink and miss it? Got a soft spot for Brandon Routh, if he was the Supes in MOS we mighta had somethin'.

Another thing you guys will love is a new PBS special called Superheroes: A Neverending Battle. Its a 3 hour long special about comics and superheroes from the beginning to the present and how different characters reflected the times they were created in. It's got tons of interviews and historical photos and a huge assortment  of TV and movie clips from movie serials to The Avengers. A damn lot of love went into it and it shows. If you don't catch it on TV its all on the PBS website til the end of the month. It's the best 3 hours a fanboy can spend staring at a screen.

Covers all the bases!  Bravo, DC and Warner Bros!

And congratulation for 75 years of high-flying action, Superman!

Here's to the next 75 years!

LOVE that. I think it would've been cool if they showed him breaking out of a web to hint at the Supes/Spidey crossover from ages ago, they showed paid homage to the Muhammad Ali comic.

Use of the Superman/Spider-Man crossover would have required clearance from Marvel.  You'll notice that the Muhammad Ali tribute didn't actually feature Ali's face?  That's because they couldn't get clearance for that, either.  The back of Ali's head could be anyone, theoretically.  The back of Spidey's head is still obviously Webhead.
