The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Turk - Jan 24, 2008 - 08:59am
To address some points you made, and didn't make.
Terminator universe isn't built around three main points. and if it was, one of them would have to include time travel.
Which is another thing you didn't talk about in this episode. That seems to be pretty integral part. That's why Sarah and John don't know about the Bad Term. As a matter of fact, by skipping him forward a few more years with them, they may have unknowingly cause the revamping of Skynet. But thats all argumentative and one of my favorites thing about the whole mythos... flawed as it may be.
Also, it hasn't been yet established what model Term. Cameron is yet. She may be progrrammed to act more human around John and not Sarah. (Which adds fuel to my mental fire that Cameron is based, be it look wise or whatever, on John's futuristic lady friend... you read it here first!)
Who knows all the answers? No one. And if you got what you'd expect in any episode, then it would be boring.
Boring deserves a C grade.
This wasn't boring, just maybe a bit poorly paced.
I enjoyed it, that in itself deserves a B.
I still enjoy your reviews though, they make me think! :)
Top 6 Reasons 2008 Could be the Year of PS3 - Jan 14, 2008 - 10:14pm
I hate to say it, but I humbly agree with this assessment. With high definition dvd onfigurations being a major issue in which system I back... I as of late have been feeling like I made a bad decision in choosing the Xbox 360. I love the games and hd-dvd to death... but with the PS3 getting cheaper and Blu-Ray becoming more and more mainstream (in the high def dept. at least), I might be migrating sometime in the near future.
Guess my tax refund if already spoken for! lol.
Maggie Gyllenhaal Talks Dawes in DARK KNIGHT - Jan 07, 2008 - 10:27am
I love great actors in supporting roles. They make them more real. I don't pay attention to Michael Caine or Morgan Freeman, their characters are what they are there for and their faces don't distract me at all.
and personally loved Tom Wilkinson's tiny bit in Begins.
