The Review!
If you are a Blue Seed TV series fan, I am sure at least you are interested what happens after the TV series, well this DVD I think is espeically made for this purpose, which expectation of phase 3, which I think was a Fan Service Omake.

First, the DVD itself. This is one of those eariler DVDs so it only came with a CD case, however the cover art looks nice and insert are nice too, if you look at the scan I have provide up there.. you will know why I said episode 3 is Fan service omake. (what the heck with Monkeys and bath tubs?)

Only thing I found odd with these DVD case are, the case is very hard open for some reason, because they don't have a small bump on the edge of the opening to hold our thumb and evertime take me a hell to get a grib to open the case.

The transfer of the Disc is very nicely done, espeically the first 2 episodes, the animation and drawing is very fluid and detailed. The last episoded lacked the sharpness of the drawing, but I think the fan service patches that up. ^_^ The sound for this show is just standard 2.0 sound so nothing speical, nothing too bad either.

As for the showing content? Well, you will have to watch the entire series of Blue Seed first before you can understand the OAV. The first 2 episode is bascially Blue Seed TV in U.S.A with an appearance of a new character. The last episode just doesn't make any sense to me, it has nothing to do with the notion of "Blue Seed", but again, who cares. Senseless bra, breast, panty shoots suits me just fine, I mean I never realized their breast are sooo... BIG (* *)... in the TV series.

This show if you didn't already know it also gathers the all star cast of voice actress/actor in Anime such as Megumi Hayashibara, Ai Orikasa and Tamagawa Sakiko (I hope you all know who those are - Rei, Ryoko and Pirotess/Natsumi ). And of course, all the fan services, now I think I know where the director of El Hazard Alternative World got the idea for the last episode of that series now. Anyhow, I have captured some images from the DVD and most of them are from the last episodes, so enjoy ^_^.

Overall, if you are a huge Blue Seed TV series fan, want to find out what happend to the TAC after the TV series, and a desperate Otaku who want his Credit Card burn like hell and you are dying to see fanservice shoots of all the woman in the show, then buy the R2 Disc. Else wait for ADV release the DVD and watch it with your grandkids.
