V Returning to Television? - Oct 10, 2008 - 12:41pm
LOL--when the human girl fell in love with one of the V aliens and gave birth to a half human/lizard monstrousity--when she screamed after she took a look at the kid after she gave birth --it was awesome!!! If they remake V they better have an homage to some of the more classic scenes in the original. Who can forget Robert Englund holding that lab rat by the tail and saying "Mousie, Mousie"!!?? And dont forget to make the V female aliens wear Sarah Palin panties!!!

First Look SMALLVILLE episode 8.5 "Committed" - Oct 10, 2008 - 12:23pm
i cant believe this garbage!! A villain kidnaps and tortures people---why? because he wants to find out how couples feel about each other?! Dude this series has gone so far down the tubes...... Not only does the underlying premise of this episode make no sense whatsoever, it is also a rather forced way of getting characters to split up or come together. Resorting to gimmicks like this = bad series planning or bad writing--take your pick.

CAPTAIN AMERICA plot synopsis revealed - Oct 07, 2008 - 06:51am
Regarding whether Capt America should be played as a conflicted character---i agree with rudewordsmith that it would be nice to see a hero for whom the line between good and bad is very clear. A hero who is sure of himself. It diesnt get any clearer than America vs Nazis!! However, that having been said, it should be noted that the Capt America series does have the seeds of moral ambiguity / conflicted character storylines within it. I remember the storyline where Capt America discovered that the American government was lying to its people and was doing unethical things and Steve Rogers decided he could no longer be Cap. Eventually he decided that Capt America would no longer represent or work for the govt but rather would stand for the ideals of America. A storyline like that would have great promise and could be very dramatic but depending on where the director wanted to take the movie, it could also be highly controversial in our current political climate. I would wait several years before making a movie like that.
