Artist Michael Avon Oeming says that BLUNTMAN & CHRONIC, the Image Comics graphic novel featuring Kevin Smith's characters, should be in stores in late December.
The book was originally scheduled to be released with Smith's latest film, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, in August.
"Kevin got tied up in the film early on, so the project started late," Oeming says. "Then scheduling conflicts came up."
Oeming says he is eager for the book to be released.
"I think it's the funniest thing Kevin has ever written," he says.
Oeming's new book, BASTARD SAMURAI, will be previewed in POWERS #17 and then launch in April.
