The Accessprogram featuring a sneak peek at The League of Extraordinary Gentlemenwill not air on AMC tonight as previously reported. IGNFilmForce is reporting that the show has been nixed, as the behind thescenes LXG footage had not been approved by Fox.
Fans caught aglimpse of the movie's Mr. Hyde in short ads promoting the show. Screen capturesof that image had even appeared on the web. Apparently Fox has also requestedthat these screen captures be removed from websites that had posted them. Theimages were not representative of what the final film will look like.
FilmForcealso reports that the movie's release date is now set for July 11, 2003. Themovie suffered production delays due to the catastrophic floods which sweptthrough Prague this summer.
