"the movie's villain, Gallian"

10 will get you 20 that there's nothing in this character much more deep then that description.

And for those of you who think it's too early to make this kind of comment, Hollywood precedent breeds cynicism.

I used to respect Liotta and Jason Statham, what the hell happened...

Too early to comment? Harken back to the Dungeons and Dragons movie and fear...

The do have a little talent lined up, though. Maybe they'll dodge the age-old sci-fi/fantasy movie bumble of focusing on special effects instead of story...yeah....that'll happen...

Why do actors and actresses keep signing up for Uwe Boll films? It's madness.

I think what it is, is that no one in the real world sees these movies. Face it, we are a bunch of movie freaks/geeks, we make movies our life, but real people don't care as much or take the time to scrutinize them like we do. I'm sure Ray Liotta has never even heard of "House of the Dead". That or maybe he was on a 7-day bender and when he finally awoke, was signed on to this movie.

Dungeon Siege is this a video game to movie transition?

Well, those crazy german investors dropped 60 mil for this film and money talks. I imagine Ray's agent has negotiated some good coin.

All said and done, I hope it's a quality film, but I'll be asking others before I go myself, thank you very much. It's been said before but deserves to get said again. Uwe Boll films are best seen in the company of both friends and extremely high amounts of alcohol.

Liotta should play SHOELESS JOE again. Have him come back in present times. He still has chops.

Diet, if you build it, they will come...

When asked why he would do such a thing as Dungeons&Dragons, Jeremy Irons said something like "You know, I bought a castle. It needs to be mantained".
That's why these actors accept to do some Dr. Bollsh*t piece of crap. Easy dough.
