I've got this figure sitting on my desk as I type this. If it gets a B, I'd love to know what in the world could possibly earn an A. The only "down side" mentioned in the review is the chainmail shirt -- that's enough to drop the figure a whole letter grade? I think the technique Sideshow used looks very much like chainmail at this scale. And surely no one expected actual interlinked metal rings, did they?
when the first LOTR toys came out I couldn't believe how impeccable the detailing was, I know they used new types of scale modelling and compositing technologies to get more accurate detail, and Boromir looks like he's no exception. And F it, with that sexy ass shield who could have any complaints about this figure?
