Yep. But I'm waitig for the inevitable hater train to roll in.

Universal Pictures has revealed the first teaser trailer for The Bourne Legacy. Watch it down below or in HD Quicktime here. The spin-off to the Bourne franchise stars Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Oscar Isaac, Scott Glenn and Stacy Keach. Director Tony Gilroy led the production, based on a screenplay he wrote with Dan Gilroy.
Plot Concept: The narrative architect behind the "Bourne" film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: "The Bourne Legacy." The writer/director expands the "Bourne" universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.
The Bourne Legacy travels into theaters on August 3, 2012.
Thanks to lazarus and mlaforce for the submission.
Yep. But I'm waitig for the inevitable hater train to roll in.
Looks pretty cool so far. I like Renner and I liked the Bourne movies, so as long as the story and the action live up to the previous films then it should kick ass.
This Bourne Legacy trailer was brought to you by... the UPC Bar Code association.
OK, except for those funky bars, it appears to be a pretty decent flick. I'm in.
I guess im the locomotive for that train MJE...... i wanna see BOURNE dammit!!!! After 1000 spy movies where "they're the best at what they do" and "no one can stop him" cliches, it gets a bit old for me. Especially when all the same type of action scenes seem like the same old sh*t.....idk... i think im having a grumpy friday morning...... uuughhhhh..... hangover......
I understand where Violator is coming from. The style of the Bourne films are what set them apart and made the a game changer for lots of action movies. I also liked Matt Damon because he was an unconventional actor in that role. He was also a guy who didn't want to be a part of this and the point of the whole trilogy was him trying to understand who he was and to be left alone.
That being said, this teaser looks kick-ass and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to see it.
Damon is what made the first movies EVEN more bad*ss. Becuase he was unconventional for the role like Monkeyfoot said. When I heard Tobey Maguire was an option, I was really stoked. Imaging Tobey M. going bad*ss like Damon. Anyway, I'm going to see this. Trailer looks good and I Iike Reiner as an actor. I just think the tag line one this one is kind of lame.
The thing was that Damon's character wanted to be a part of it but he forgot, which I think was part of the program itself, right?
I liked but never loved the Bourne movies but I must say that this trailer has piqued my interest. Maybe Renner will bring new life to the franchise
As writer and producer Tony Gilroy is the reason the bourne trilogy made an impact, Damon did a good job for sure but Gilroy's writing is what made them popular. Now he's getting his chance to finally direct one of these himself and I can't wait, no more shakey cam s$#t!!!!!!!!!
Looks like a kick ass ride.
