In its ninth weekend of release 'The Dark Knight' has finally tumbled from the top 5, going from #3 to #7 in the wake of four strong opening pictures, according to weekend estimates published by Box Office Mojo.
'Burn After Reading', 'Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys', 'Righteous Kill' and 'The Women' had to team up to topple the bat. Never the less, 'The Dark Knight' still out performed last week's #1 movie, 'Bangkok Dangerous' and added another $4 million to its tally.
The domestic gross on the Christopher Nolan film now stands at about $517.7 million.
The movie is also moving up the All-time Worldwide box office chart. If the estimate hold it will now rank #5 on that chart, with over $966 million. The #4 spot, held by 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' seems to be within striking distance, but it'll be tough for the bat-film to go higher than that.
