 Not having read the books, this one or Code, I didn't have any preconceptions so I thought it was really good.  As for Trek, it was decent, but as I've said before I would have enjoyed it better if I hadn't been already exposed to it. Looks like that was some good box office. I guess if I want old Trek I'll just have to read a book or something.

Not jumping on the bandwagon, but, it was better than the rest. I can even overlook the carwash/warehouse interiors.

Hmph! Just seen it, I think it would enjoyed it better if I didn't know about trek already. That being said it was "better than all the others put together", even the 15 minuets of klingons and the begining of STTMP.
