Just a few days after Relativity Media officially confirmed Juan Carlos Fresnadillo as the director to lead The Crow to theaters, Heat Vision is reporting Bradley Cooper may be landing the title character for the upcoming reboot.
The trade reports that Cooper (Hangover, The A-Team, Limitless) is at the negotiating table to tackle the role once played by Brandon Lee after having a positive meeting with Fresnadillo in Spain. With production planned to launch later this year, the helmer will be shooting based on a screenplay he wrote with scribe Nick Cave.
Plot Concept: Based on the comic by James O'Barr, the reboot will focus on the character of Eric Draven (once played by Lee in the 1994 adaptation). Cooper would play a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancée from thugs.
