This show is every bit as good as BTAS, but in it's own way.
If they could get this show, Superhero Squad and the new Spiderman cartoon(Yes I know it's on Disney XD) back to back, I'd be a happy camper.

Excuse me if I’m wrong, but did Batman just travel back in time and team up with famed WWI German dog-fighting pilot Enemy Ace to save a young Adolf Hitler from alien obliteration? Luckily for our favorite land-dwelling outrageous adventurer he was able to count on the code of honor that all biplane battlers adhered to back in the days of “The Great War.” Let’s hope Batman travels back in time to sock der führer in der jaw before the next world war rolls around.
And with that rollicking aerial escapade out of the way, Batman and the Enemy Ace bid each other a respectful, yet tense farewell; each secretly hoping they never have to face off against each other on land in the air, or under the sea.
Which brings us to our favorite ocean-dwelling outrageous adventurer - Aquaman. The King of the Seas has never really been a favorite of mine. I like him fine, but it seems most writers don’t know how to make him interesting to the audience. Not so with this group. The Aquascribes over at the offices of B&B really enjoy feeding voice actor John DiMaggio some heroically pompous lines and DiMaggio delights in his own swashbuckling delivery as much as anyone.
This week’s episode, Aquaman’s Outrageous Adventures, was one part National Lampoon’s Vacation, one part old school Filmation, and all parts silly-plastered-smile-on-my-adult-face enjoyable.
Poor Aquaman would much rather be pounding henchmen silly than visit some silly Cheese Museum in an RV, but it seems Mera wears the scaly pants in the Aqua-family, so Arthur, Mera and their video game playing son Arthur Jr. are in for a few weeks of roadside attraction land travel through some of the most fascinating, villain-crawling cities in the entire DC Universe.
On their travels Aquaman treks through Smallville, Fawcett City and Ivy Town to name a few, after promising Mera he would not go off on any more super quests and just relax and enjoy time with his wife and son. Of course this doesn’t mean he’s not tempted into leaping into the fray with his other super friends, but the Monarch of the Deep is honor bound once he gives his word, which leads to a very funny 3-second sight gag with the Atom and a windshield wiper.
Unlike last week’s Blue Beetle heavy installment, I did not find myself missing the Caped Crusader for a second, but I must admit I was enjoying the Silver Age Penguin, and so when Aquaman and his aqua-kin finally took a vacation from their vacation, the day was saved and the episode only got better.
Being a bit of a DC geek, I particularly enjoy Arthur Jr.’s uniform. It was a nice little tip of the hat to the comic book pages of years ago that this creative team has done so well.
I’m almost getting sick of telling everyone how much I love this show, but I do and I’m not, so I will continue to sing the praises of one of the finest half hours of cartoon happiness in the entire history of television. The only complaint I have is I have to wait a week for the next chapter in the saga – and if the title suggests anything, (The Golden Age of Justice!) this will prove to be another Outrageous Adventure.
Joe Oesterle is an award-winning writer and illustrator, but what he often fails to mention is that many of those awards were won on a New Jersey boardwalk. If you have some time and a love of one-man produced animation, please check out some of Joe’s own animated shorts.

I hate this show - I didn't think a Batman show could get anymore campier than Adam West's but now I have pie in my face.
I love the show and thought this episode was great because it was a direct throwback to the old Filmation DC toons, but it was done in a funny and respectful way.
Hmmmm... I commented on here two days ago, but nothing showed up.... anyway, thanks for writing guys. I love this show. Sorry you don't agree MrJawBreaking..., but for my money it's one of the best shows on TV.
Absolutely love BB&B! It's fun without taking out the adventure or ruining the characters. The homage to the Superfriends in this episode (complete with vintage title cards) just made me giggle. The writers for this show are freakin' brilliant! I'd almost like to see a spinoff of this with Aquaman as the lead character.
On Saturday, CN has this show paired up with The Secret Saturdays. Probably one of the best hour of cartoons and animation on tv right now.
