As one of the highlights from last summer's San Diego Comic Con and voted one of the top new webseries hitting the net this year by Mania's Rich Kuras, we're more than happy in spreading the word for Adam de la Pena and Sierra Mist's On the Bubble. Since the new webseries features a lot of G4 "Code Monkey" veterans, a channel that caters to our fanboy needs, I'd be remiss in not passing along that this week's episode is featuring a cameo from comedian Brian Posehn.

As a little nod to you Dark Knight fans out and about, feel free to check out that news ticker at the bottom of the webisode. Gordo did exactly what many fanboys did when they heard of the possibility of Johnny Depp playing The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman playing the Penguin in the next Bats film.

Series Concept: On the Bubble is a new, weekly animated web series that takes a cheeky, yet refreshing look at current news through the eyes of five irreverent “wannabe” reporters. Posehn is playing the janitor for Middle Town Community College (another funny site), the college where these wannabe reporters are broadcasting from.

"Bubble" is spearheaded by Adam de la Peña, who launched his career writing for Comedy Central's "The Man Show" and "Crank Yankers". He later went on to create popular cable shows including Comedy Central's "I'm with Busey" and G4's "Code Monkeys". Adam is joined by comedy-industry veterans Jordan Black ("SNL", MadTV") , Dana Snyder ("Aqua Teen Hunger Force"), Andy Spies ("Code Monkeys") and Liz Loza ("Monk").
