Sideshow has released images from their coming 12" line of figures based on the classic Universal horror film BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN.
The figures are of the title character and the monster, as played by Elsa Lanchester and Boris Karloff, respectively. Both are scheduled for shipping in Dec. 2001-Jan. 2002.
The BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN figure features over 20 points of articulation, the white flowing gown and wrapped arms, an electrical heart monitor and clear heart containment vessel, and cobblestone display base. The figure is packed in a full color box that features a replica of the original movie poster on the front flap.
The Frankenstein Monster has an appropriately flame scorched head on a body with over 20 points of articulation, in a highly detailed costume including all the rips and tears he received at the end of the original FRANKENSTEIN, and an assortment of human bones including a human skull from his meeting with Dr. Pretorious in the crypt. This figure also includes a cobblestone display base and is packed in a full color box that features a reproduction of the original film poster on the front flap.
Sideshow is now taking pre-orders on these figures, which are selling for $40.00 each.
