The British film industry looks to be halted utterly should plans for an actors strike happen as scheduled. This action looks to have a dire effect on coming projects, possibly including JAMES BOND 20... but perhaps not HARRY POTTER 2.
The British actor's Equity union has been going through a year of negotiations with Brit producers resulting in nothing getting accomplished. Now, the union has declared a strike deadline that would require all union members to cease working on UK productions starting December 1st.
While this could effect the impending BOND 20 production, word has it that HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS may get by.
According to Empire Online, seperate negotiations are under way between the union and Warner Bros. regrarding the secon POTTER film, which may allow the project to continue on schedule.
