Three thespians have hopped on board Italian horror mastermind Dario Argento's Giallo, says the Hollywood Reporter. Adrien Brody, Emmanuelle Seigner and Elsa Pataky have signed on to star in his latest horror thriller. The screenplay was penned by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller and will be produced by Rafael Primorac and Richard Rionda Del Castro. Brody is also executive producing Oscar Generale, Claudio Argento, Luis De Val, David Milner, Billy Dietrich, Patricia Eberle, Donald Barton and John Hicks. Production is set to begin May 12 in Italy with post-production planned for Los Angeles.
Plot Concept: The film revolves around an American flight attendant who teams with an Italian investigator to search for her missing sister who has been abducted by a serial killer known only as Yellow. The term "giallo" means "yellow" in Italian and also refers to the Italian pulp, horror and erotic genre of film and literature.
Every time I get to the “serial killer known only as…” my mind keeps seeing serial killer klown.
Be nice to see and Argento flick without bad dubbing or subtitles!
LOL I can see some Italian Inspector saying, "someday I will catch that Giallo Bastard and take away both of his weapons". :) But I like the sound of this movie, I like things like this. Sounds kinda like Hannibal.
