The creators of the
BROTHERMAN underground comic book are the latest people to profit from Hollywood's craze for superheroes. The rights for their property have been being picked up by Distant Horizon, a film financing, distribution and production company.
The Hollywood Reporter states that the comic is about a lawyer who works in Big City, U.S.A., during the day but at night fights crime as a superhero.
Reporter also says that over 750,000 issues of
BROTHERMAN have been sold independently, no small feat for an indie publisher. Distant Horizon and Reveille Entertainment are developing a TV series based on the character.
