VARIETY notes that Terry Gilliam's current project,
BROTHERS GRIMM, is casting rapidly. The film is projected for a 2004 release date, and Gilliam was reportedly in Europe in late December on location scouts.
The film centers on the famed folklorists, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, reimagined as intinerant con-men who face an unexpected test when they encounter a real curse.
The actors mentioned for the role of the Grimms (rechristened Jake and Will) are Matt Damon and Heath Ledger, while Robin Williams and Gilliam regular Jonathan Pryce are to portray bad guys Cavaldi and Delatombe.
