Bryan Singer keeps close eye on 'Superman Returns'

One of the (soon-to-be) most talked about sequences in the DC Comics adaptation 'Superman Returns' almost didn't make the final cut. But director Bryan Singer lobbied long and hard get the scene airtime. He also get extra financing for it, about $2.3 million.
