BUFFY: CHAOS BLEEDS goes gold

Vivendi Universal has just informed us that BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: CHAOS BLEEDS has gone gold and is being duplicated for shipment to retail shortly. The game will appear on store shelves starting August 26.

Available for PlayStation 2, Xbox and Gamecube systems, CHAOS BLEEDS was developed as a "lost episode" from the show's fifth season. A dimensional bleed has appeared in Sunnydale, spilling over and threatening to rewrite reality. As usual, only Buffy and her Scooby pals are all that stand in the way of evil reigning supreme.

And promptly today at noon the game's official website will throw open its virtual doors. You'll be able to download an all-new trailer showcasing the game's action sequences and impressive graphics. See what it looks like to dust a vampire for yourself!
