Here's what might be the last "new" cast pic for a new season of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Rumors swirl about this being the last season of the groundbreaking genre classic, with star Sarah Michelle Gellar remaining cagey about returning in the fall of 2003, while creator Joss Whedon has publicly mused on the possibility of a BUFFY-less SLAYER.
And yes, we know this picture is a slightly altered version of last year's cast pic - but this comes straight from UPN. Who knows, maybe the network is saving its pennies in order to pay for Ms. Gellar's salary next year.
The show returns September 24 at 8 p.m.
