James King has signed on for the female lead role in MGM's BULLETPROOF MONK project.
In the coming film, which will also star Chow Yun Fat and Seann William Scott, King will play the part of a Russian mob princess going by the name of Bad Girl.
The film, based on the comic book series of the same name, tells the story of a a mysterious monk that happens to be a master of martial arts, who journeys around the world in order to protect an ancient scroll. He's been doing it for 60 years when he arrives in America to find a new scroll keeper, picking a streetwise young man named Kar, played by Scott.
Paul Hunter will direct the film with a script by Cy Voris and Ethan Reiff. Filming is set to start early next year.
