Is the BULLETPROOF MONK in the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sequels?

According to a report initally credited to the Chinese newspaper Apple Daily, Asian action star Chow Yun-Fat has been cast as a pirate in the two PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sequels. The story goes that Chow's wife, Jasmin Chan Qui-nin, was the one that let the secret slip out and that her hubby will be playing a real-life Chinese pirate from the 15th century named Cheung Po Tsai.

Apply Daily goes on to say that Chow and the sequel's director, Gore Verbinski, met last week in Hong Kong to discuss the actor's involvement in the two sequels. Nothing official has come down the pike from Walt Disney Pictures, the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie studio.
