Cabin in the Woods Blu-ray Trailer

Weeks to go...

By Robert T. Trate     July 27, 2012
Source: Lionsgate

At the Saturn Awards last night (see link), director Drew Goddard said that the little cubes will have close ups. He referred it as “some of their best work”. He also informed the press that the Giant Spider will be in there as well.  So if you think you know the story, think again. Experience the film that critics and audiences are raving about when The Cabin In The Woods arrives on Blu-ray Disc (plus Digital Copy), DVD (plus Digital Copy) and On Demand and Pay-Per-View September 18th, 2012 from Lionsgate. The Cabin In The Woods will also be available on Digital Download September 4, two weeks prior to the Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand release.

This movie is simply amazing.  I watched it every weekend until The Avengers was finally released.  Brings the idea of a meta-horror movie to a whole new level.  Also, a scathing satire on the state of the movie industry.  So great, and on so many levels.

Can't wait for all the extras.

I'll second that, Wyldstaar!  Great Flick!

Funny, cleaver, a satire yet original in its own right. Pure fun.

Been waiting patiently for this to finally arrive.  I've yet to see the movie, but it definitely had my interest.  Seems like I blinked and it had exited the theater.

I think they should have waited on the release date of the film.  I know it had been shelved for awhile, but after all the hype of Whedon and the dude who played Thor...they would have been better to hold out until September/October.  Speaking of, I really wish Trick or Treat had done better.  I think the idea was to release one a season.  What a great concept.  Too bad people only want to see films like Saw and Paranormal over and over again.
