Raul Menendez is idolized as the Messiah of the 99%, yet underneath the surface lurks an insidious mastermind hell bent on global insurrection.
Created in collaboration with David S. Goyer (co-writer of The Dark Knight Rises) and Trent Reznor (Academy Award-winning composer of The Social Network), Treyarch and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have redefined storytelling in the franchise.

Check out the new trailer for Black Ops 2 titled “Villain”. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out November 13th 2012.

First time I have looked forward to a CoD single player campaign....scored by Reznor is reason enough to get this :P

Meh, I'll reserve my judgment for when I finally get to play it.  These game trailers nowadays just don't do anything for me.  I wanna see more actual gameplay.  Otherwise it's just touting the story.  It's not like a movie where the trailer is showing you snippets of the actual film.  Don't get me wrong, I need a good story, but if the gameplay sucks then it doesn't matter.  Yeah, this looks like it could be exciting and all that, but CoD has fooled me before.

<cough>  Back Ops  <cough>

How the heck can COD:BO has failed you VTG???

That game is awsome and the gameplay was pretty good IMO. The only problem I have sometimes with the PS3 online is the host will kick out once in a while but, other then that it's great.

Any of Maniacs want to look me up in COD:BO, I have the same name as here, I'll shoot your sorry a$$ right in the eye!

I wouldn't say it failed me, but I just felt like it didn't live up to the hype.  It felt like they rushed to release it just so they could make some quick money off us consumer monkeys.  My two favorite CoD games are World at War and the first Modern Warfare.  There was just something about BO that I just didn't like.  See, I hardly ever play multiplayer, so the campaign mode is extremely important to me.  I thought the BO campaign was rather weak, even annoying at times, such as the interrogation scenes.  Annoyed the shit outta me.  Maybe if I played multiplayer I'd have a different opinion, but I just don't have the patience it requires to sit there for hours on end just to gain experience and become good enough to actually be able to compete.  It's not very fun getting blasted within 5 seconds of every respawn.  The only multiplayer games that I'm really any good at right off the bat are the Halo games.  I used to wreck fools.  Haven't played in a while though, but I'm sure I can pick it right back up.  I'll look you up next time I'm online.  My gamertag is also the same as my Mania login.

It's weird cause from my end, I prefer COD:BO Vs COD: MW3.

I bought the really expensive versio of MW3 and still only played 10 minutes in multiplayer. I do prefer the storylines and always play those first but, I prefer the maps and weapons and killstreak of BO Vs Mw3...or MW2...or WAW.

But, it's to everyone's choice. I love the voices in BO also, the talent is huge.

I had been debating wether or not I was going to buy BO2...but this trailer and the more recent ones have convinced me. The graphics look subpar compared to MW3, but seriously, this looks exciting. I like the futuristic concept.
