He also gives great hand jobs.

violator I read that argument too but I've read others that felt otherwise. Still no one as far as I know has seen the fully finished product which they may be able to darken a bit to appear more like a traditional film without losing the 48fps effect

Sarcastic:  always looking for an argument hey?  You would have a point, if Cameron wasn't the one who convinced PJ to film in that format!!  But if that's all you got, well......kinda weak considering all the other shit I listed......try harder......

wallyrus 5/8/2012 6:02:04 PM

I suspect he is going to cross The Abyss over with Avatar.

SarcasticCaveman 5/8/2012 6:04:15 PM

 I don't always look for arguments!  You're 100% wrong and I'm right.  So.....yeah.

wish 5/8/2012 6:13:19 PM

hahaha!!  awesome

violator14 5/8/2012 6:22:29 PM

LOL! Hey anyone can say a director sucks for whatever weird reason.  You know that saying, "It's so easy a SarcasticCaveman can do it."

Wise- Im sure you're right. Especially cuz PJ and JC know a LITTLE more about movies and cinematography than we do.  =)

Well, I may stand alone on this, but I still think Avatar will eventually go down as an overrated movie.  Can't seem to make myself atch it again.  I tried and just can't force it down.  "Unobtanium"...  jeesh.

invisage 5/8/2012 7:14:21 PM

@wiseguy could be right about the 48fps. Is like LED versus LCD screens. On some of the earlier tvs and current cheaper tvs the images sometimes look a little 'off'. Like they are skipping a frame, or slightly too fast (best I can describe it).

@movieboy you don't stand alone but are in the minority. I can easily sit through it again if there isn't anything new on TV and I can't be bothered putting anything on from my library of movies. But I would have to agree that they could have come up with something a little better than "Unobtanium". Hell why not pick one of the 'rare earths' elements that China is currently trying to horde for their own tech companies as demand skyrockets for them.

The ego on this man.  He's like Lucas; great ideas, terrible execution, he can't write worth a shit.
