A year and a half after DreamWorks and producer Walter Parkes confirmed they had plans to bring The Fall Guy into a theater near you, Deadline reports they may have a well-respected director to resurrect the '80s TV franchise character. The online trade reports that Martin Campbell is eyeing the project as his next possible feature film, based on a screenplay by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class). Cambbell recently brought The Green Lantern into theaters and other credits include Casino Royale, Goldeneye and the two Zorro films.
Plot Concept: Based on the series which aired on ABC from 1981 to 1986, the story centered on Colt Seavers (Lee Majors), a Hollywood stuntman by day and bounty hunter by night. He often incorporated his stunts into his bounty-hunting, flying vehicles (his trademark large pickup especially) over large objects, jumping from impossibly high angles and doing other things '80s heroes did to nab the people they were chasing. Heather Thomas co-starred and often got into trouble with him.
