AQUAMAN could be the next ANIMAL MAN.talk about an lame hero becoming COOL.

agreed with tevii. GREEN LANTERN works as an group just like X-MEN. AQUAMAN would never work as a group comic.let him stand alone like SUPERMAN/BATMAN do.with supporting characters like MERA,ETC.

At this point I don't think anyone but Geoff Johns can save Aquaman.

ive never had a problem with aquaman, other than that hes been on the back shelf forever, im willing to give him a shot, i love green lantern so hopefully Geoff can do it

I could be wrong, but I suspect that Geoff Johns' winning streak when it comes to making lame superheroes awesome again will end with Aquaman. Not that I don't like the character (and I go even further back than Chad, having watched the old Filmation cartoons), I do, but I've never seen Artie as a top rung A-Lister like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman or Green Lantern. Aquaman's a second-tier character, nothing more, nothing less, can Johns make him relevant enough that fans will want to shell out their hard earned money on the book? Who knows, but I wouldn't be surprised if it flops.

 I try to like Aquaman but I just can't he always seems so lame, whether it's the terrible costume, hook hand or dodgy facial hair, he's just not interesting to me, I prefer Namor at least they've kinda updated his costume, & he's a total arrogant ass which helps make it interesting. 

Then again if Gail simone can make the secret six work with all the c & d list characters, why not Johns with this.

Aquaman has so much untapped potential. But enough with the cheats: cutting off his hand, giving him demigodlike anger issues, making Namor with astrangement. Respect his power, find his id, retcon his costume with a classic spin.

I might now bring up my long held belief that a fantastic movie pairing/franchise crossover stunt casting would be Aquaman vs Namor (starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise) -it's not too late!

i think aquaman  should be treated with respect he's the king of atlantis...he's been around a long time!!!! dc needs to do better by aquaman give em' a chance.....please?????
