Rock steady 1980s name producer Stephen J. Cannell (GREATEST AMERICAN HERO, A-TEAM, HUNTER) has sold his novel RIDING THE SNAKE for production as a feature film.
Novel you might say? What do you think he's been doing since 21 JUMP STREET was cancelled? He's become mid-range crime and action novelist. SNAKE tells the story of a complex conspiracy set in the world of the Chinese crime triads, and the hipster 'playboy' whose brother is killed, drawing him into the underworld.
Cannell will write the screenplay for Myriad Pictures.
