Cannon, Ashmore and fast cars

X2's Mister Bobby Drake himself, a.k.a. Iceman (better known as actor Shawn Ashmore in real life) will star with DRUMLINE's Nick Cannon in the thriller THE UNDERCLASSMAN. Cannon (who also came up with the story idea), playing a young detective with a baby face, poses as a student in a selective private school to find out who's stealing cars. He uncovers evidence that one of the kids at the school (Ashmore) is leading the car theft ring.

Marcos Siega is directing the Miramax film which begins filming in October. The script was written by David Wagner and Brent Goldberg (NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VAN WILDER).
