Chris Evans is terrible.  If he stole any scenes in Fantastic Four, it was by being especially crappy in an especially crappy film.  Cellular was horrific.  He hasn't been good since Not Another Teen Movie, which is right up his alley.

Don't like the sound of Nolan's Superman comment. I remain skeptical but hopeful

Lang pulled off badass pretty well in Avatar so I feel pretty good with him as the big bad in Conan

Keep Sabretooth out of Japan and Wolverine 2 and stick to the source material

In my mind I was starting to accept Krasinski as Captain America cause it seems that he was the last man standing. Evans may not be bad at all but would Marvel cast the same actor for another of their characters even if it was with another studio, IMO, nope.

Anyway they should keep looking for newcomers maybe they'll widen the age range and go for McPartlin or McCougnahey if they want a name. And I think the money should not be an issue especially if you're a newcomer. You're pretty much investing in your future cause once the movie drops, not to mention Avengers and the rest you will be a superstar

Evans would make a good cap. I look at John Krasinski and his face just doesn't say Captain America to me. Dane Cook would have been an awful choice. I've been waiting for this movie since I saw Superman come to life on the big screen when I was a kid. I trust Marvel to make the right choice.

Nolan's a bright, talented, creative guy so I trust him, but I hope he can see that what worked with Batman won't necessarily work with Superman. Batman's a well-financed vigilante, so he can be somewhat grounded in "reality." Superman is an alien with the power of a god. I still say Michael Bay is the perfect director to make a Superman movie that combines action, special effects and iconic imagery. The Wachowski brothers would also be a good choice.

Other than some flashback, leave Sabertooth out of the next Wolverine movie. Forget the first movie even happened and get Zach Snyder to make the movei about Wolverine's adventures in Japan. It's really a shame that Marvel can't get the rights back to the X-Men and Fantastic 4 franchises.

I hope all those names are wrong for CA just to make all those so called experts look stupid.

Lang is a great actor, he can pull off any role.  Still think he was the only thing worth watching in that horrible Gods and Generals as Stonewall Jackson.

Sounds to me like Nolan is going to be more Faithful to Superman so fans shouldn't worry about it becoming TDK.

I agree, keep Sabertooth out of Japan.  Though I admit even keeping him out I still think Fox is going to screw it up.

I could see Chris Evans as Cap, but Wise is right about the studio possibly not usng him since he was already used for a Marvel character. He's a good actor. He was definitely the best part of both FF movies and was good in Push and Sunshine. I'm hoping that they go with someone like McPartlin, but I'm not even sure if he read for the part
I still don't see Krasinski as Steve Rogers. He's a good actor but I don't see him as a charismatic leader.

I feel that the movie may be delayed if they don't nail down Cap and soon. The director said that they'd have Cap cast by the end of Feb. we're now well into March with no Cap yet. They may have to expand the age and money range to get somebody exceptable. McCougnahey hasn't been doing well career wise this could boost it just like Ironman boosted RDJ's.

Chris Evans was very good in Sunshine which was a greatly underrated sci-fi film. Another good recent sci-fi adventure that flew well under a lot of radars was Pandorum, and Ben Foster was great in that. Foster would make a much better Cap than Evans.

Chris Nolan is the muthafu.king truth!

Also, yes Sunshine was great.  Pandorum was alright.  Some of that film reminded me of what a Dead Space film would look like.  On the game subject, Chris Evans should play Nathan Drake when Sony finally rolls with Uncharted.

Evans would actually make a very good Cap, he is an incredibly underrated actor. Also out of the actors that have been mentioned for the part, he is about the only one who already has the build to pull it off.

I wouldn't be too sure that Marvel wouldn't cast him simply because he was already in another Marvel property. Ray Stevenson who played the Punisher will be playing Volstagg in Thor, so I don't really think they are beyond that.

Hell yes, thank you Christopher Nolan for helping to tackle this mother f-ing franchise so we can get a real good superman. It doesn't sound to me like we have a reason to worry. Only thing he said is he's making the movie work within it's own world there's nothing saying that they can't combine the characters once these films are done. Just like in TDK I would rather Nolan and the filmmakers who come aboard work on the story at hand and to the best they can than worry about tying the movies together. They can do that later.
