That's actually a great costume...if only the man inside fit the suit....''sight''......

Looks pretty sweet.  I can picture Chris Evans in it.  I just always thought of someone more, let's say, mature (that's the best word I can think of) playing the part.  I hope Chris can pull that off.

Actually, neither AICN nor JoBlo claim this is actual concept design work. They both state that these are renderings done by fans based on the description of the costume.  The description is based on what Mike (over at JoBlo) saw of costume tests, but the artwork is based solely on his descriptions. At least that's what they said...

@ 1st i doubted the casting of Evans as Steve Rogers/Cap but i think he's shown some versatility in the roles he's done and him doing a much younger wet behind the ears performance of Captain America will make for room for the character to Grow in front of  die had fans and casual movie goers through out this film and the already planned sequels including the Avenger flick...  

 Suit looks good tho, realistic and practical for something from the WW2 era

works for me. though i think you are right to say it is just fan renderings about what they heard. but safe to say this would be a roughly good "translation" into the "real world" for cap

This suit actually looks pretty badass. I really hope it looks like this, I was worried about how his costume would look on screen, this thing looks amazing.

I like the fan drawings! but soem of it doesnt look very WWII. So it was easy to determine (without an office notice) that these were fan drawn. But i still think it looks great! I hope its close to this and if it is! Im not worried about the costume!

I don't hate it...in fact I kinda like it...plus that mug that shines through that helmet/mask looks like Chris Evans...if he can put on that muscle by the filming, then I'm all for it...
