Its a shame bendis isn't involved with ultimate spidey toon but if they stay true to the source material it wouldn't matter anyway- I am happy to hear he is hard at work on powers havent heard any info on that one in awhile

Going to see Kick-ass tomorrow morning oh yes- cant freakin wait for that one

Green hornet will be a rental

I agree with wiseguy about nic cage- he has earned a little more street cred with the geek boys among us. Wiseguy- if you want to see a good nic cage film that is recent see his latest Bad Liutenant port of call new orleans with eva mendes THis was a geat movie- I wasn't going to watch it until dvdtalk gave it a great review

And so the wheels of the comic book kingdom are turning very nicely... :D

Good updates, but still not too interested in Green Hornet.

Atwell turned in a decent performance in AMC's The Prisoner mini series. Definitely no problem with that casting.

And while Nic Cage might have earned some geek cred, that doesn't mean we have to accept him as a good actor... or even as a passable one.

Dude, have you not seen Matchstick Men, or Leaving Las Vegas ,Raising Arizona and Adaptation? Nic Cage is a good actor. Yes, he's done some horrible movies but eh is still a damn good actor.

Thanks Wiseguy soemtimes i read over stuff like that and i ddint even read the part where Rob said to highlight the hidden text. IMma dumb@ss . I dunno abotu Munn playing that role either..but maybe she can do it...who have to get your start somewhere. The real question is, does she have a multiple picture contract? If she does then i would say its pretty concrete you will see her in that film we are all waiting for ..wink wink. (trying not to give it away to the non spoiler lovers. lol

And i agree with CHEESEY1...I too would "give her the business"

Everybody bitches and moans about Nic Cage.  Personally I think he does a good job.  He's a character actor, if it's the wilder and crazier the part the better he does.  When he's in his element he's a damn good actor.  Now if you want to talk about bad acting maybe we can talk about Daniel Radcliff or...gulp...the worst of them all, Megan Fox.

After seeing the preview for Cage's new film, I wonder if there will be a lawsuit involved. The costume looks wayyyy too much like the Dark Knight costume. Black suit, cape, yellow belt. I might go see it. I regard Ghost Rider has a guilty pleasure. The acting in it was terrible, but the effects were good. I guess wait and see.

does any one know who this chick who been picked for the CAPTAIN AMERICA is ? any movies she's been in ? as for Nc Cage , the guy oews a bunch of cash to the IRS , he would play MICKY MOUSE for the money (LOL) , yeah he's a good actor , but is long past his time for A movies . looking foward to the CAP movie .

I've haven't seen Olivia Munn in any screen roles, so I will reserve judgement.  I know she's got a small part in Date Night, and I plan on seeing that.  Even if she turns out not to be a particularly outstanding actress, I kinda doubt that Wasp is going to be all that significant a role.  The Avengers is going to be an action movie, so naturally most of the screen time is going to be given to the heavy hitters of the team.  Wasp is about as usefull to the Avengers as Aquaman is to the Justice League.

Enjoyed "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics for awhile but just can't see a Disney-funded Saturday morning cartoon doing it justice.  The original run was pretty hardcore and dark.

Eh, never cared much for Green Hornet, so I could care less about the Seth Rogen version.

Seems kinda unfair to be pitted in Batman '60's TV trivia against Adam West, but whatever.  Fun to see him nontheless and "Kick-Ass"looks great.  Leno still sucks.

Munn as Wasp doesn't bother me if it's just a cameo.  If they expand her role in "The Avengers," I'm sure she'll be able to hold up (as stated before, the focus will probably be on Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and (maybe?) Ed Norton).  As for Atwell, whatever.  We all know SHARON Carter is where it all ends up.
