Captain America: Winter Soldier Concept Art

Plus Guardians of the Galaxy too

A ton of new concept art has surfaced for both Captain America: Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. One has to like the real world concept of Anthony Mackie’s Falcon. The Guardians of the Galaxy images are the real surprise here. The Cap images, outside of the Falcon, are expected.

Captain America: Winter Soldier will be released April 4, 2014.

The Plot: "Winter Soldier" is based on the comic book storyline of the same name, wherein Bucky (Sebastian Stan) is brainwashed and used against his ally Captain America. Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) will appear as Falcon, and Samuel L. Jackson will likely once again reprise his role as Nick Fury, as the film will tie into both this summer's The Avengers and its planned sequel.

The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

Guardians of the Galaxy arrives August 1, 2014.

The Brief Synopsis: Guardians of the Galaxy centers on Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), a U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone want. The film features, in addition to Chirs Pratt,  Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and possible Zoe Saldana as Gamora.

The film will be directed by James Gunn.

I just hope "Winter Soldier , doesnt bring in too many characters an subplots  , but to stick to the WinterSoldier storyline that made the comic book shine . Too bad they dont  have  Ed Brubacker as storyline  editor , since He was the guy who came up with the concept . Its a bummer that sequels nowdays take 5 years to be made. Looking forward to see  " Cap " in action again .

I agree about Ed Brubaker...someone needs to hire this guy to write some scripts!!  I would love to see Criminal adapted to the big screen, or have him pen the Daredevil reboot.

Its a bummer that sequels nowdays take 5 years to be made.

Captain America hit in 2011. The sequel drops in 2014. Thor came out in 2011, and Dark World is later this year. The Avengers was in 2012, with the next one coming in 2015. Iron Man came out in 2009, IM2 in 2010, and now IM3 is this year.

No, I've always been pretty crappy at math, but I don't come up with 5 years between any of those....

Frankly, I'm stunned at how FAST these movies are getting done. I'm not complaining, but when timelines are that compressed, it usually makes me wary. But Marvel's kicking ass with it, so I'm okay right now.

Love the concept artwork. R.R better be telling some old fight story to everybody in that bar.

Agree. Not sure what Domino is referring to with 5 year gaps between sequels. We have been blessed with the Marvel movie machine since 2008. Sure there is a 2-3 year gap between Thor and Cap sequels but they were in Avengers in 2012. When you think about it, In a 5 year span, we got to see Iron Man four times. May 2008-May 2013. In a span of 33 months, we get to see Cap three times on the big screen July 2011-April 2014.

I too am stunned at how Marvel Studios is producing these like hot cakes. No messing around. That's the beauty of Kevin Feige running the show. No straggling, they get with the program the moment they lock up the right personel. The only hiccup was the delayed Ant Man. They are totally organized and WB/DC should follow this instead of dicking around.

I keep thinking of the "old" mentality of George Lucas of the 3 year production run of his Star Wars movies when they probably could have been in shorter periods of time. Maybe that's what domino is referring to? Nowawadays, the studios know big franchises are the flavours of the month and people lose interest very quickly. Look how fast the sequels for the Potter movies, Hunger Games, Twilight, Transformers were produced. LOTR and Hobbit as well (although all three movies were shot together)

These all look great. I couldn't help but notice that Cap just BARELY let that car pass before running behind it to charge Bucky.

nothing says that car moved anytime in the last week.  Since theres skidmarks and no running or brake lights:)

I'm digging all of these images. It will be cool to see Falcon flying on screen. It looks like his wings are not attached to his arms like they are in the comics but are a separate Hawkman like configuration.

Better late than never I guess with the concept art.

Diggin' everything but especially GOTG
