Captain America: Winter Soldier Start Date

From Cap Himself

By Robert T. Trate     September 12, 2012
Source: Hitfix is reporting that the follow up to Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: Winter Soldier begins shooting in March 2013. Who did they get this information from? Well Captain America himself, Chris Evans.

Captain America: Winter Soldier has release date of April 4th, 2014. This gives Marvel plenty of time to hype the film with their Thor sequel, Ant-Man and of course Iron Man 3.

The Plot: "Winter Soldier" is based on the comic book storyline of the same name, wherein Bucky (Sebastian Stan) is brainwashed and used against his ally Captain America. Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) will appear as Falcon, and Samuel L. Jackson will likely once again reprise his role as Nick Fury, as the film will tie into both this summer's The Avengers and its planned sequel.

The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

Thanks to Chopsaki for the submission.

Marvel/Disney is continually b!tch slapping DC/WB with the movie planning. Wonder when they are going to reboot DD when they get the rights back next month?

BIGGKIDD 9/12/2012 9:11:52 AM

I think DD would be a perfect choice for a tv series.  It would require any cgi his villian gallery would fit well on tv he, that is what I would recommend they do.

I've always said a DD TV series would be more fitting for a street hero like DD.

ABC/Disney is still toying with the idea of Marvel TV and they should consider this. It would open the door for appearances that Murdock has associated with in the past. Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, etc...

Also a great opportunity to crossover TV shows like what they did with Avengers. Wouldn't it be cool to have a DD, Heroes for Hire and SHIELD series at  the same time. Then after one full season each, have a 3-part crossover?

Marvel rules the roost & DC is playing catch up like grandma in a wheelchair.

How's that for mixed metaphors?

Mossy1221 9/12/2012 2:15:11 PM

A Marvel channel would be so damn awesome!

You know I keep hearing about this movie and seeing the Winter Soldier and knowing Bucky will be an antagonist in the story.  But I keep thinking, I'm quite sure there will be some sort of redemption story for a "fallen hero", which would lead me to believe there has to be a "Behind-the-scenes-exploitation-type" villain that hasn't been revealed yet.

Someone's gonna be pulling The Winter Soldier's strings... and I doubt it's just a generic Russian General.  Zemo?  Strucker?  It's gonna be somebody.

i wouldnt be suprised if the person behind the winter soldier

was.........wait for it......

The Red Skull

Hugo is done with The Hobbit, and the Tesseract came back, why

not him.

DriveShaft 9/14/2012 12:40:47 PM

Marvel has indicated that Zemo will be the main antagonist
