Good guess Shogunn , You maybe close or on target , but I was reading on Yahoo , that Evans only got $300,000 for First Avenger and is getting 2-3 million on this film while Avenger costar RDJ gets $50 million on next Avenger flick. I may agree this slightly fair since RDJ been around for 30 years in films . Any way this trailer Rocks ....

Chills all over my body...FN GREATNESS!!

I remember an article a few days ado regarding the Daredevil/Punisher licenses...STEP ONE: Hire Ed Brubaker to develop the scripts.  He writes the best comics out there and if anyone disagrees, read his Capt. America and Daredevil run, then pick up Sleeper and Criminal.

Had no problem playing the trailer .  I have an iphone so I keep the latest version of itunes and all the Apple periperal stuff like a Quicktime player) downloaded on my PC...maybe that helped.  Chrome browser did ask for permission to play the video on Quicktime before I could watch...I selected watch in HD and it played great.

Like everybody else I was impressed with the trailer...but i can wait until it arrives in April because there are lots of other things I'm also interested in seeing.

Watching the trailer...the dark, gritty edginess as opposed to the light family feel of the Avengers made me think of what Ratner has brought to this medium.  Watching and listening to the serious conversation between Evans and Redford invoked memories of Bale and Freeman discussing electronic spying on an unknowing populace.

Monkeyfoot wrote that he wished that MAoS TV series was like this trailer...more serious and less kiddie. I don't think MAoS is kiddie.  When it's grandsons don't pay any attention to it...They appear to find it boring. I think the problem with AoS is that Disney/Marvel are afraid to go all in hardcore Comic Book for fear of losing casual viewers. They should just dance with the one who brought them here and let the chips fall where they may instead of trying to be NCIS or Bones.  Sure most people don't read comic books...but they don't read fairy tales either and Once Upon a Time has had success...parading out characters like Rumplestiltskin and Peter Pan in dark serious settings...Marvel has a bunch of cool Comic characters they could use in a similar fashion.

Shogun@ I think your pretty much spot on for the plot & villian.  Which is exactly how I would of wanted the story to be be.  Specially based on the Winter soilder story line.  About the costumes:  I bet the all blue is when he is working for SHIELD and RR, towing the company line.  Then when it all goes to shit with SHIELD he switches back to the good old Stars and Stripes.  Again, this movie is beginning to look exactly how i would of wanted it to be!!

This looks like its gonna be my favorite of phase 3.  and completely wipe the bad taste of IM3!!!

Serioulsy?? How have we gone 4 pages of comments without someone bashing the new Captain America suit. For the record I like it a lot.

Eldogg42 10/25/2013 7:10:49 PM

The suit actually translates well to film.  It looks better then the version in the comics.  This movie will OWN!!

kinetoscope 10/25/2013 9:21:06 PM

 Wow.... just wow.

ElBaz13 10/26/2013 11:26:52 AM

What is there to bash about the suit?

It's the recent costume he wore while Bucky was Captain America in the comics. Steve Rogers came back to life but didn't want to take the Cap mantle from Buck who took his place while he was dead. So Steve just adopted a mask-less costume that looks exactly like that.

Gotta admit, before I drop down to beat the holy he ll out of some random Gotham City citizens in Arkham Orgins, I'll say to myself "before we begin, does anyone want to get out..."
