Common Joins Freedom Fighters in TERMINATOR - May 07, 2008 - 06:39am
KIMBO SLICE? Are you kidding? No way Hollywood puts him in anything, unless it's a role as a gangster. First he'd have to shave off the beard... then cover up the tats... then get plastic surgery for his belly button, because it looks like a huge ZIT. Even after all that, I'm not sure SkyNet can make Terminators with dark skin. Maybe when the planet got nuked all the materials make darker skin got burned up. Not to be racist, but we just haven't seen any black Terminators... now that I think about it I don't remember seeing any black survivors of judgement day at all. Maybe SkyNet was a program designed by a bunch of Neo-Nazis to ride the planet of anything and anybody that didn't look like them. Think about it. SkyNet builds a Terminator that has a thick Austrian accent. Hmmmm... Anyhow. Glad the paragraphs are back. Now what's this I hear about the Avengers on Yahoo?

TERMINATOR 4 is PG-13? - May 05, 2008 - 09:06am
Ok. I've gotta chime in here. There are too many of you guys thinking this isn't a big deal. First of all if you think back correctly T2 had quite a few gory moments I mean the T-1000's main weapons were BLADES! What do you think he did with those? Work at Benihana's? You don't remember what he did to the foster dad? Or the security cop, who was getting coffee? And NO! You couldn't just cut those scenes out or "dumb" them down because Cameron put them in full view for us to see just how UNHUMAN, COLD, and CALCULATING. They are. Remember back in T1 what Kyle Reese said? "They can't be reasoned with or bargained with. They kill, that's all they DO!" As for T3, there should have been more gore, BUT there was still some. What the TX did to her fiance and when she decided that the cops were no longer usfull she didn't have them stop the car and throw them out she STABBED HER ARM THROUGH THE DUDE TO REACH THE FUCKING STEERING WHEEL. The shortest distance between two points in a straight line (unless you bring in wormhole technology). These are the things that need to be seen. Speilberg thought the same thing when doing 'Scheindler's List' and 'Saving Private Ryan'. Imagine those movies with a PG-13 rating. Would they've had the same impact? NO!!! This next trilogy is WAR!!! people not one or two terminators traveling back in time to surgically prevent a future event. I want to see a mass landscape with these robots taking on thousands of troops. I want to see them tossing all the dead bodies in huge heaps and burning them with out care. We have to see what transforms John Conner into this, "great military leader." We've seen three movie so far with John fighting against what he is to become. Only to realize at the end of T3 that judgement day couldn't be prevented. PANT PANT PANT Ok I'm done. If this is to happen then I'm waiting for the unrated version on Blu-Ray to see it. Fuck the man and his almighty greed for $$$.

Dazzler, I'm sure you're not alone in your opinion there, but I think I'd be safe in saying that on THIS comment board you might be outnumbered. IMO I like what Marvel is doing by creating it's own comic-hollywood universe and taking little tad-bits from TV, movies, comics, etc... I wasn't aware of this Frank guy who seems to have the most awesome job ever. I think it's a good thing that there is one guy involved in all of the Marvel movie projects. That way, like he stated, we'll get to see some continuity in all these movies without dampening the "non-fan" base so that the studios will allow it. It'd be cool to see the super-soldier formula making it's way in and out of other Marvel movies leading up to an all out Avengers Movie. It took Hollywood long enough to get the idea and to let the fanboys take the reigns. I'm just glad I'm alive to see it done right.

LOL! It's from Return Of The Living Dead. It's the scene where Frank & Freddie let the 1st zombie out of the cooler and it makes a beeline for Bert, since he's the only one in the room actually alive at the moment. If you put a gun to my head and made me pick a favorite movie this would probably be it. All the sequels suck though. Sleep well tonight with this knowledge Cappy!
